About This Spot

Step into Grand Boulevard Cafe, and you immediately sense a warm, unpretentious charm that lingers in the air. Nestled in the heart of Joondalup, this cozy spot has the comforting pace of a familiar neighborhood hub where mornings unfold gently and the clink of coffee cups accompanies quiet conversation. The modest, well-worn furnishings invite you to settle in without fuss, allowing the focus to rest on the simple pleasures of hearty food and kind company.

The mood here is quietly cheerful—a place where locals and visitors alike come together over thoughtfully prepared fare deeply rooted in Scottish tradition. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the savory sizzle from the kitchen, hinting at breakfast plates that feel like a little return home, no matter where you’re from. Whether it’s the rich, spiced fullness of black pudding or the crispy comfort of tattie scones, each bite carries a sense of authenticity, crafted with care and real ingredients sourced from Scotland itself. This is a café where the menu tells a story—one that honors heritage without pretense.

Across the room, the staff’s warmth adds a human touch that lifts the ambiance from ordinary to heartfelt. It’s clear why people come back time and again, drawn not just by the flavors but by the feeling of being looked after—whether that’s accommodating dietary needs or sharing a recommendation with genuine enthusiasm. Grand Boulevard Cafe quietly holds space for those seeking a slice of tradition and a moment of respite amid their day.

Been going here for years and the food is always great, staff nice and just a slice of back home downunder.

We had an unreal Full English breaky, Full Irish Roll and some extra Tatties here. They catered for our food allergy need effortlessly. The flavours of their black and white puddings were like nothing I've ever had before- spiced and seasoned to perfection. Their humble furniture could use a good scrub, but the food is what has people coming back there time and time again. I wish I took a picture of the meals to add to this review but that'll be at the next visit. I'll be back.

Have been trying to get here for over 10 years! After it comes up on Facebook. The problem was I live in Sydney! I have been to Perth twice since the post, but I never had the chance to do it! This trip it was a priority. And let me tell you, i was not disappointed with the food, I have had this food in Scotland, and it's on par if not better. Do yourself a favour and stop and have a meal. And the sides shortbread tablet pies and others are a must

As a pom I’ve really missed the traditional greasy spoon breakfast and this place does it proud! Absolutely fantastic breakfasts, delicious pots of tea and omg the battenberg. Love love love this place.

Had the haggis, bean, and cheese toastie as take away on a short lunch break. Freshly made and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try some of the other menu items when I have time for a sit down meal.

Can’t fault the full English breakfast at all! Also added fried bread which is easily the best I’ve had! Exactly the same as what we get back in London
